On April 25, 2005, executives from CNET, Powered, ContextWeb and Industry Brains joined GSD&M's Dave Evans at the AD:TECH05 conference in San Francisco, the nation's leading interactive marketing event, on a panel to discuss the emerging trend towards Contextual Marketing. The panel, titled "The Contextual Marketing Opportunity" addressed the broadening range of online resources for consumers, from forums to buyer's opinion sites, to consumer product ratings, to blogs and RSS feeds, and how publishers need to maximize their real estate online, resulting in a deeper focus on contextual advertising.
