Austin, TX—March 29, 2006 – Powered, the market and technology leader in online consumer education, today announced the appointment of Dean Wiltse to the company's board of directors. Wiltse joins the other board members to provide strategic counsel and accelerate growth for Powered's innovative marketing offering. The Powered model replaces traditional, unsolicited media with online courses and programs to increase sales, deliver significant ROI and build brand loyalty.

Wiltse brings more than 30 years of technology leadership to the Powered board. Most recently, Wiltse served as CEO of Greenfield Online where he pioneered the use of Internet surveys as a primary marketing research methodology. Under his leadership, Greenfield Online experienced unprecedented growth and profitability and was ranked one of the 100 fastest growing companies in North America by Deloitte in 2004. Wiltse was named a finalist for Research Magazine's CEO of the Year in 2005, as well as an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 nominee for his leadership, vision and success in online marketing.
Prior to Greenfield Online, Wiltse served as president of the software division at Engage, Inc., where he led the development of the industry's first online profiling and ad-serving technology that enabled targeted online marketing based on an individual's interests and their online behavior. He has also held senior management positions at other innovative technology companies including Avid and Vivo Software, which was sold to Real Networks in 1998.
